Course Overview

Originally, there was only one form of yoga: Maha Yoga, or the Great Yoga. However, as history progressed and human society evolved, yoga became increasingly fragmented. Today, people often focus on specific micro-disciplines, such as asana (postures), meditation, or bhakti (devotion), rather than embracing the entirety of the practice.

In this workshop, Gregor will illustrate how Raja Yoga, as described in the Yoga Sutras, Karma Yoga from the Bhagavad Gita, Bhakti Yoga from the Bhagavata Purana, and Jnana Yoga from the Upanishads are interconnected and together form a cohesive whole. When these four yogas converge into a consistent approach, the practice of each supports progress in the others.

This workshop will be particularly beneficial for those with a foundation in Patanjali’s yoga, including asana, pranayama (breath control), and meditation. Gregor will delve into each yoga’s approach and techniques, making progress in the other three yogas accessible to participants. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice these techniques and ask questions.

During the LIVE lessons, which will take place on Zoom, questions can be asked. Those who cannot join live due to time difference can email in questions via our contact us page. All lessons will be recorded and will be uploaded to the Vimeo platform during afterhours.

HAPPY STUDENTS

Gregor and Monica are genuinely amazing people, I felt engaged and energised from the first minute to the last minute of this incredible experience. Even though they have a lot more Yoga experience than me I felt they treated me as an equal and taught from a place of love and authenticity throughout.
